Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

i got the pork tonkotsu omurice with both sauces. Honestly, the food was great! I did find the pork tonkotsu was slightly hard to bite and that the omelette was slightly on the well-done side compared to ones I’ve had in Japan. Other than that, it’s definitely a must-try and I’m looking forward to trying the ramen next! Besides the food, the interior design was just gorgeous.

Really cool spot and menu, the food was just ok. Flavors were bland for me. Service was on point and the decor was awesome. Without those things this would not be on my radar for food alone

Houston's ramen is seriously competitive, so it takes a lot to stand out, but this place is genuinely trying, and you can feel it! That's why I gave them 5 stars. The service was fast and attentive.. they even sealed up my leftover Thai tea in a to-go cup with a fresh straw. The ramen had a nice kick to it and the broth was solid. I'll be back... mostly for how they make you feel when you're there. Just wishing they would lower their price a bit to make it more affordable to come often...

Walking in, there’s an immediate sense of design; not just visually, but emotionally. The semi private booths create this cocoon effect where the outside world fades a bit, and suddenly it’s just you, the table, and what’s about to happen next. It’s playful, a little theatrical, but grounded enough to not feel like a gimmick. Now let’s talk about that omurice… because wow. This is comfort food dressed up in its Sunday best. You’ve got this soft, almost custard-like blanket of eggs—bright, glossy, and delicately folded—resting over seasoned rice. It’s the kind of texture that makes you pause for a second before even taking a bite. And then comes the sauce. That deep, rich demi glace cascades over the top like a finishing note in a great dish—bold, savory, slightly sweet, and incredibly cohesive. It doesn’t just sit on top; it integrates. Every bite becomes this perfect harmony of creamy egg, warm rice, and that luxurious sauce wrapping it all together. It’s indulgent, but there’s restraint. And that balance is everything. What I really appreciate here is the technique. Eggs are tricky. They can go from silky to rubbery in seconds, and here they’re handled with care. You get that

Came for the fluffy eggs and I got them. Great food and honestly absolutely gorgeous restaurant. If you're looking for a fun date night. This is the spot! From private booths to tables off the wall. The one thing you must try is the amazing lemonade. It does not fall short from amazing! Service was good too. We had a little mishap with our purple fries but they eneded up sending us some hot and fresh ones!
